AIM Publications
During their time with AIM, Fellows generate a great deal of management research for dissemination to a wide audience. In addition to this, all Fellows at every level engage policy makers and practitioners from a wide variety of sectors as knowledge generators in the co-production of knowledge. AIM produces four different types of publications to meet the needs of these various audiences.
Academic papers, otherwise known as white papers, are the authoritative summary of a research project, intended primarily for use by researchers but appropriate for managers seeking a more detailed discussion of a subject. |
Executive briefings take the most important points of a research project and put them into context with recommendations for practicing managers and MBA students. |
Themed reports summarize the findings of several projects under a related topic, such as innovation or management practices, providing a useful overview for researchers, practitioners and policymakers. |
Working papers are summaries of ongoing or completed research projects. They have been reviewed by an academic peer, and are mainly for the use of researchers. |
