Professor Robert F. Lusch

Professor Robert F. Lusch is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he earned a Ph.D. in business administration with an emphasis in marketing and accounting. Currently he is the Executive Director of the McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship and the holder of the James and Pamela Chair in Entrepreneurship in the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona. His research is in the areas of the service-dominant logic of marketing, competitive strategy and marketing systems. Professor Lusch has served as Editor of the Journal of Marketing and is the author of 125 scholarly articles and 18 books. On two occasions the American Marketing Association recognized him with the AMA/Maynard Award for Theoretical Contributions to Marketing and the Academy of Marketing Science awarded him the Distinguished Marketing Educator Award. He also is the recipient of the Lybrands Bronze Medal for outstanding contributions to the managerial accounting literature. Professor Lusch has served as Chairperson of the American Marketing Association.  Previously he served as Dean of the Michael F. Price College of Business at the University of Oklahoma and Dean at the Neeley School of Business at Texas Christian University.
