Professor Robin Wensley

Professor of Policy and Marketing at the Warwick Business School since 1986 and was Chair of the School from 1989 to 1994, and Chair of the Faculty of Social Studies from 1997 to 1999. He was previously with RHM Foods, Tube Investments and the London Business School and was visiting Professor twice at the UCLA and University of Florida. He was Chair of the Council of the Tavistock Institute of Human Relations from 1998 until 2003, having been a member since 1992.

He was appointed to the Council of the ESRC in 2001 and was a Board member of the ESRC Research Grants Board from 1991 to 1995. He was a member of the UK Foresight Panel for the Construction Industry from 1996 to 1998, and the Built Environment and Transport Panel from 1999 to 2001. He has been involved with consultancy and management development with many major companies including British Telecom, Philips NV, ICL, IBM, Glaxo, Nestle, Dynacast and Jardine Pacific.

Research and consultancy interests include marketing strategy and evolutionary processes in competitive markets, investment decision making and the assessment of competitive advantage.
