Emma Feltham

Head of Business Relationships, EPSRC

The primary purpose of Emma’s role is to develop, implement and deliver EPSRC’s strategy for interactions with key industrial and other business stakeholders.

Emma has been with EPSRC since November 2002, starting in the Engineering team looking after Process Engineering, then moving to the Life Sciences Interface team in August 2006. Emma led the Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals and Biotechnology sector team from April 2004, and following the merger of that team with the Food and Drink sector team in September 2006, led the newly formed Process Industries sector team until her promotion in June 2008.

Emma is a graduate of the University of Reading, with a degree in Chemistry and a PhD in Atmospheric Chemistry, and postdoctoral experience in Laser Chemistry at the University of Bristol.
