Vicky Pryce

Chief Economic Adviser and Director General Economics - DTI

Vicky Pryce is the Department for Trade and Industry's Chief Economic Adviser and Director General Economics. Vicky was previously a partner at London Economics, partner and Chief Economist at the Accountancy and Consultancy KPMG, Corporate Economist at ESSO Europe and Chief Economist at Williams and Glyn's Bank, later the Royal Bank of Scotland.

She has been elected on to the Council of the Royal Economic Society, is a member of the Society of Business Economists, an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and on the Court of the Company of Management Consultants. She is also on the Advisory Panel at GoodCorporation, a company set up to promote Corporate Social Responsibility. Vicky has recently been appointed Visiting Professor at City University Business School (now the Cass Business School).
