Researching Innovation and Change Processes with AIM VIF Andrew Van de Ven

An AIM capacity-building workshop for academic researchers who combine an interest in deepening our understanding of innovation and change processes with a commitment to informing practice and policy.

25 May 2011
Details:

10.30 -16.00, Room E46, Cardiff Business School, Aberconway Building, Cardiff University

The workshop led by Professor Andrew Van de Ven, AIM Visiting International Fellow, from the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota, USA. Professor Van de Ven is an international expert on innovation process research. He is principal author of The Innovation Journey and sole author of Engaged Scholarship, landmark texts for researchers in this field.

The event was designed for early career and established academics whose research examines innovation and change processes in private, public or voluntary sector organizations. It offered a rare opportunity to work with a world expert in exploring the state of our knowledge, promising ideas for future lines of enquiry, and research strategies which maximize the potential for impact on practice and policy through deep engagement with stakeholders at different stages of the investigation.
