The aim of this workshop was to introduce researchers to the practice of designing and conducting social research that benefits both academics and other stakeholders with a connection to the research area.

This was the first in a series of three events, and was targeted at PhD students and those within 4 years of achieving their PhD contemplating the design of their first post-PhD research project.

Starting with the perspective of business engagement across an academic career, the workshop introduced the principles and practices of Engaged Scholarship from leading author AIM Visiting International Fellow Professor Andrew Van de Ven.
