AIM Ghoshal Fellows

The Ghoshal Fellowship scheme was formed in honour of the late Professor Sumantra Ghoshal, a well respected AIM Fellow who sadly passed away in March 2004.

We have announced nine Ghoshal Fellows who are all mid-career academics selected from more than 50 applicants, to work with AIM for a three-year period. Their research interests range from the individual manager (Robyn Thomas), management practices within firms (Julia Balogan and Paula Jarzabkowski), practices and processes for search and innovation at the firm level (Ammon Salter) to long- running change in key industry sectors (Gerben Bakker), innovation in services (Bruce Tether) and international comparative studies (Simon Collinson, Nick Bloom and Michael Jacobides).

A core theme connecting the group is the bridging of various levels of analysis, so that management practices, performance outcomes, firm-level competitive advantage and international differences are all linked.

List of current Ghoshal Fellows:

Dr Simon Collinson - Lead Fellow - Warwick Business School

Dr Gerben Bakker - London School of Economics

Professor Julia Balogun - Cass Business School

Dr Nick Bloom - London School of Economics

Dr Michael Jacobides - London Business School
