The Productivity Ideas Factory Participants

The Ideas Factory is about bringing a diverse group of academics together to debate and explore issues and ideally generate new and potential insightful research avenues. From the initial Ideas Factory event in January 2005, 20 selected participants spent four days discussing potential themes and ideas to take the programme forward. These participants are now working on inter-related projects to develop productivity and performance.

Project 1: Knowledge, Skills and Productivity in Retailing

Project 2: The Role of Management Practices in Closing the Productivity Gap

Project 3: Moving to the Next Level: A Scoping Study

Project 4: The Unintended and Indirect Effects of Performance Measurement and Regulation on Productivity: A Multidisciplinary Overview

Project 5: Understanding and Assessing the Concept of Knowledge Leakage
