Productivity Ideas Factory
New Insights Into Productivity and Performance Overview
The
Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) and the Advanced Institute of Management Research (AIM) today announced a major
new investment into research for productivity and performance. The programme consists of five inter-related projects developed under the Ideas Factory
Scheme.
The Ideas Factory bring diverse groups of academics together to debate and explore issues and ideally generate new and potential
insightful research avenues. From the initial Ideas Factory event in January this year where the 20 selected participants spent four days discussing
potential themes and ideas to take the programme forward.
"The Ideas Factory event has brought together academics from different
disciplines and backgrounds which led to lively and in-depth debates and the work towards final research proposals that will examine the UK's
Productivity Gap. I am sure that all participants will agree that the event was exciting and all look forward to working together in the future,"
AIM Deputy Director and Director of the Ideas Factory, Andy Neely.
