Professor Rachel Griffith
Rachel Griffith is Deputy Research Director of the Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS) and Professor in the Economics Department, University College London. She is a Director of the Review of Economic Studies, on the Council of the Royal Economic Society and the European Economic Association, a Fellow of the Centre of Economic Policy Research and an academic consultant to HM Treasury.
Her research interests include the empirical investigation of service sector productivity, the impact of foreign investment on economic performance and productivity, the relationship between product market competition, innovation and productivity, the factors influencing firms' location choices, the design and implementation of technology policy.
