AIM Senior Fellows Ian Clarke, Professor of Strategic Management and Marketing at Lancaster University Management School, describes the findings of research into consumer choice he recently conducted with Professor Harmen Oppewal (Monash University) and Malcolm Kirkup (Birmingham University). Funded by EPSRC and ESRC as part of the Advanced Institute of Management Research initiative (AIM), the project was cited as evidence by the Competition Commission in their Final Report on the Grocery Sector investigation, published on 30th April 2008.
