Innovation for Inclusive Growth

Innovation is not just a buzzword. It is more than just the process that brings us exciting new products and ways of living. Increasingly for the world's most disadvantaged people, innovation holds the key to lifting communities out of extreme poverty. No organisation or government is about to claim that just around the corner lies the one idea that will bring renewable energy to isolated communities or galvanise vulnerable people against the effects of climate change. However, it would be equally foolhardy to say that any of this will be possible without innovation.

With this in mind, Imperial College London Business School and AIM Research have organised Innovation for Inclusive Growth, an event not just to showcase the latest ideas, be they technological advances or management practices, but to provide a forum to discuss the challenges and opportunities in this area.
